1. Data controller and scope

tuttd controls the personal data described in this policy for its website, mobile apps and APIs. Contact privacy@tuttd.com for privacy questions or requests. Service providers may process data for us under contract.

2. Data we collect

Account data may include your provider identifier, email, display name, profile image, login sessions and account preferences. Activity data may include saved events, registrations, meetup posts, organizer content and support messages.

We process approximate or precise location only when needed for a feature and, on mobile, when you grant the relevant device permission. Technical data may include IP address, device and app version, language, timestamps, security logs and necessary cookie identifiers.

3. Why we use data

We use data to provide accounts, city search, maps, event discovery, meetups and saved items; to secure and troubleshoot the service; to respond to requests; to meet legal obligations; and to understand aggregate product performance.

Depending on the context, processing is based on performance of our contract with you, consent, legal obligations or our legitimate interests in operating a safe and useful service. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. Sharing and international transfers

We share only what is needed with infrastructure, map, authentication, communications and support providers. Public event and meetup fields are visible to other users; email addresses and provider identifiers are not part of public profiles.

Data may be processed in countries other than yours. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers. We may disclose data when legally required or in connection with a corporate transaction subject to appropriate protections.

5. Retention and security

We keep account data while your account is active and for a limited period afterward where needed for security, disputes or law. Short-lived meetups expire as displayed; logs and backups follow limited retention schedules. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.

We use access controls, encryption in transit, hashed session credentials and operational monitoring. No system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may complain to a data protection authority. Turkish residents may exercise rights under Article 11 of the KVKK; EEA residents have rights under the GDPR.

7. Cookies, providers and children

The website currently uses only cookies or local storage needed for security, language and core operation. If optional analytics or advertising tools are introduced, we will provide appropriate notice and choice.

Google and Apple process information under their own privacy terms when you choose their login. Map and external ticket links may also lead to third-party services. tuttd is not directed to children under 16.

8. Updates

We may update this policy as features and legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised and material changes will be highlighted through the service.
